Comments on the treatments outside Spain
|
Traveling outside Spain to do a treatment can be a very tough experience because of different factors: difficulties with communication due to the language barrier, economical costs, etc. |
T
his can cause a lot of anxiety and uncertainty. We are all very careful when it comes to placing our health in the hands of someone and in choosing a physician or hospital we try to select what we consider it is best for us. |
This is even more important when traveling abroad to receive a treatment, because in addition to the medical issues, it is necessary to take into account the circumstances of each country (physical and legal security, reliability, certainty, etc.). It is therefore very important to decide correctly where to go, since a poor selection can cause an experience that can be devastating. |
Clinics in our neighboring countries apply the different assisted reproduction techniques in a way that it is legal, reliable and secure as they are subjected to the control of the authorities that regulate the activity. In some cases, the activity of regulation and supervision is much stricter than in Spain.
|
This happens, for example, in the United Kingdom, where HFEA (Human Fertilization and Embryology Authority) has very strict regulations and undergoes rigorous periodical inspections of the clinics. In contrast, countries like India, Russia or Ukraine offer poor legal certainty in the implementation of these treatments.
